Rough roads require meticulous design and engineering. That’s why the 2026 Honda Passport features 8.3 inches of ground clearance with short bumper overhangs and high approach angles at 23 degrees for added vehicle protection during spirited, off-road moments.
Trail Info
Trail Info, which comes standard on all Passport models, is displayed in the Digital Instrument Cluster to help with navigation in unknown terrain. Useful information such as pitch, roll, elevation, and a compass help your off-road experience.
Hill Descent Control
The Passport includes a robust hill descent control system that helps modulate your brakes when driving downhill so you can focus on steering without pressing on your brake pedal.
Quieter Drive
The acoustic windshield and available front side glass help keep cabin noise self-contained with acoustic foam along the body panels, reducing wind noise for a quieter cabin experience.
Active Shutter Grille
When you’re stuck in traffic or driving at slower speeds, the active shutter grille automatically opens and closes to control airflow and help cool the engine at different speeds. When the roads are wide open, the grille closes to help with efficiency and improved aerodynamics.
Drivetrain
The new 285-horsepower* V-6 engine allows this rugged SUV to take on tough roads. The 10-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters has improved torque output and acceleration. A towing capacity of up to 5,000 pounds* helps you transport large items with ease.

Seven versatile drive modes allow you to toggle your Passport between Normal, ECON, Sport, Snow, Trail, Sand, and Tow modes while seeing each mode’s distinct icon on the 10.2-inch Digital Instrument Cluster.

Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM)
The Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM)* is designed to help you stay on the road. If you cross over detected lane lines without signaling, RDM can provide necessary steering and/or braking assistance to help you return to your lane or keep you from leaving the roadway entirely.
Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS)
The Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS)* helps make highway driving easier when you’re cruising on the open road. While your hands are on the wheel, the system can help keep your vehicle centered in a detected lane by making subtle steering adjustments.
Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)* is an intelligent cruising system that adapts to the speed of vehicles detected ahead so you don’t have to. When a vehicle in front of you is traveling slower than your set speed, ACC slows your Honda automatically and then maintains a set following interval.
Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™)
The Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™)* can alert and assist you when there’s a risk of collision with a detected vehicle or pedestrian in front of you. The system can automatically apply brake pressure when it determines that a collision is unavoidable.
Blind Spot Information System
BSI* uses radar sensors to detect the presence of vehicles to the side and behind your Passport, to assist you during lane changes. Warning indicators alert you if the system detects a vehicle.
Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR)
Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR)* can help you keep track of road information, such as the current speed limit. As you drive past traffic signs, the system can display information from recognized signs on the Digital Instrument Cluster.
Driver Attention Monitor
Driver Attention Monitor helps you recognize when your attention to the road is being diminished and alerts you to pull over and take a break.
Cross Traffic Monitor
Cross Traffic Monitor* alerts you to approaching vehicles detected when you’re backing up.
