Every 2026 Pilot is powered by a robust 3.5L V6 standard engine that delivers up to 285 horsepower1 and 262 lb.-ft. of torque2. If you’re in a particularly sporty mood, take direct control of its gear shifts using the standard paddle shifters. When you need to tow a trailer to help a family member move, or want to escape Arlington with a camper for the weekend, the Pilot meets the challenge with its 5,000-lb. maximum towing capacity3. Off-road adventures are possible too, thanks to the available i-VTM4™ AWD system. It bolsters the SUV’s traction and adds Trail and Sand settings to the Integrated Drive Mode selector, which provides a standard lineup of Normal, Econ, Sport, Snow, and Tow toggles.
Interior
As many as eight passengers can fit inside the 2026 Honda Pilot, or seven with the available second-row captain’s chairs. In the first row, you’ll find a standard 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with an available two-position memory function, a convenient tool that lets you and your partner easily swap positions and settle into your ideal posture with the push of a button. Available perforated leather upholstery with quilted Alcantara accents and contrast piping provides luxury-level sophistication, while the standard one-touch flat-folding second-row seats amplify the SUV’s cargo utility. In its most spacious arrangement, you’ll have 113.7 cu. ft. of storage capacity4, with standard bag hooks and tie-down points positioned to help organize your gear.
Safety
Loaded with Honda Sensing®, which is an advanced suite of standard safety and driver-assist features, the Pilot provides peace of mind every time you leave the house. It helps ease the mental burden of busy highway driving with the Lane Keeping Assist System5, a tool that applies gentle steering guidance to keep the SUV centered on your intended path. In the event you start drifting past the lane lines without signaling, the Road Departure Mitigation System6 automatically directs the Pilot back on track. If you take a wrong turn on the way to Fort C.F. Smith Park, the Traffic Sign Recognition System7 will keep you posted on local ordinances by displaying information such as the speed limit inside the cabin.
